Our goal is to help families through difficult times by providing nurturing care and respite for their children. This allows the parents time and rest to get the help they need.

We also provide referrals to other resources to help parents overcome their crisis.

We believe that asking for help is a sign of strength. We encourage all families/caregivers to call us when they feel they have no where else to turn.

We believe it takes a village to raise a child and we are here to help you.

Saskatoon Interval House is a temporary shelter for women and their children fleeing domestic violence who require safe accommodation.


YWCA


The YWCA Saskatoon offers short-term emergency shelter for all women and children who are in need of a safe place to stay for up to 30 days.

Child Protection Intake


Child protection services are available from the Ministry of Social Services for children who are believed to be in need of protection.


Mobile Crisis Service


Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service (SCIS) provides comprehensive crisis response services to individuals and families 24 hours each day, 365 days of the year.


601 Family Support


The 601 Centre is located at AIDS Saskatoon on the corner of Avenue F North and 33rd Street West. The purpose of our Family Support Program is to provide support for families in crisis during non-traditional hours.


Saskatoon Salvation Army Community Services


The Saskatoon Salvation Army Community Services are made up of two shelters, a drop-in centre, meal program, family services, a local church and a place of support and hope for adults in the core neighborhoods of Saskatoon.
